Privacy policy
Sprone works on your iPhone. It has no server, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics, and it collects no data about you. Here is where everything goes, and why
What stays on your iPhone
Your designs and their versions, your brands, the references you import, the text you type into a design, and your design taste: what Sprone learns from the styles you choose. Sprone keeps all of it in its own storage on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us, and we have no way to see it
Deleting a design takes its versions and what it taught your taste with it. Deleting a reference takes what it taught your taste too. You can forget your whole design taste under Settings › Design taste, and deleting Sprone from your iPhone removes everything it kept
Photos and Files
Sprone never asks for access to your photo library. When you add a photo to a design or import a reference, you choose it in the system’s own picker, and Sprone sees only the pictures you choose. It keeps its own copy of each, and nothing goes back to Photos: Sprone never saves anything to your library
Pictures you import from Files are copied into Sprone in the same way
Product photos
When you add photos of what you sell, Sprone checks them on your iPhone to suggest a feel, elements and colors for the design. They aren’t kept once the design is made
The models
Text recognition, subject lift and Sprone’s suggestions run on your iPhone, using the models built into it. What they find in your pictures and text stays on your iPhone with the design
Exporting and sharing
A design leaves Sprone only when you export or share it, as a PNG, JPEG, PDF or MP4, and it goes only where you send it: to Files, by AirDrop, or through the share sheet to the app you choose. What happens to it there is up to that app and its own policy
Backups
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, the backup includes what Sprone keeps, under Apple’s terms for backups. Sprone has no copy of its own
The app’s log
Sprone keeps a small log on your iPhone of how long its work takes, in counts and milliseconds, so it can be made faster. It never contains your designs, text or pictures, and Sprone never sends it anywhere
Crash reports
If you’ve turned on Share With App Developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple shares reports of Sprone’s crashes and how it runs with us. They describe how the app ran, never your designs or anything you made. You can turn this off under Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements
Children
Sprone collects no data from anyone, children included
