Sprone

Terms of use

The short version: what you make with Sprone is yours, use it for anything you have the right to, and keep a copy of what matters to you

These terms

These terms are between you and Sprone’s developer (“we”). By using Sprone you agree to them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to Sprone, and where the two disagree about your license to use the app, Apple’s agreement governs. Apple isn’t a party to these terms and isn’t responsible for Sprone

Using Sprone

You may use Sprone on any iPhone you own or control, as the App Store’s rules allow, for personal or business work. Sprone is licensed to you, not sold, and its software, design, catalog and name stay ours or our licensors’

Please don’t:

Your designs

The designs you make in Sprone are yours. We claim no rights in them, and since they stay on your iPhone, we never see them. You can use them for anything, commercial work included, as long as what you put into them is yours to use

What you import

You’re responsible for the pictures, logos, references and text you bring into Sprone. Import only what you own or have permission to use, and check that a design made from a reference doesn’t copy someone else’s work

Fonts and graphics

The fonts, icons, emoji and other graphics inside Sprone come from their makers under open licenses, each credited under Settings › Acknowledgements. They’re licensed for use in the designs you make, commercial work included. Their licenses don’t let you sell or share the fonts or graphics on their own

Sprone’s suggestions

Sprone draws styles, suggests feels, colors and elements, and fits your text to each size. They’re suggestions: the design you export is your choice. Check every name, date, price, phone number and address before you print or publish, and check that a design meets the rules of the place you publish it, such as an ad platform’s policies

Other services’ names

Sprone names sizes after the places they go, such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and X. Those names are trademarks of their owners. Sprone isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them

Buying and refunds

Sprone is sold through the App Store, and Apple handles payment, receipts and refunds. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com

Updates

We may update Sprone to add, change or remove features. We’ll try to keep what you’ve made working across updates, but exporting the designs that matter to you keeps a copy that doesn’t depend on the app

No warranty

Sprone is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that Sprone will be free of errors, work without interruption, or suit a particular purpose. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of Sprone. Our total liability for any claim about Sprone is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited

Ending

You can stop using Sprone at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your right to use Sprone ends. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, such as those on your designs, warranties and liability, still apply after that

Changes

If these terms change, the new terms will be posted here with a new date below. Using Sprone after a change means you accept the new terms
